Fishing Pool
Shays Farm fishing pool is set in a beautiful location near to the campsite, surrounded by greenery and woodlands. The fishing pool was a former fresh water reservoir that supplied the local area with clean water. The pool now contains Carp, Tench, Perch and other breeds of fish all of various sizes.
There is ample car parking close to the pool. Prices can be found under tariffs.

Fishing Rules
Open from dawn till dusk.
A valid fishing licence must be shown when booking in
Fishing licences not available on site
All fish must be returned to the lake
Barbless hooks to be used at all times
No braided lines
Rods and equiptment must not be left unattended
No Radios to be played around the pool
No dogs allowed around the pool at anytime
Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult
No swimming, stoves or cooking
Maximum of two rods per person
All rubbish must be disposed of in bins supplied
Fishers are allowed to use the campsite toilets. |
